Jim McNeeley- Owner/ Principle Broker

I grew up in Astoria, OR where I received my salesman’s license in 1967 and went to work for my father. In the fall 1967 I moved to the big city (Portland) and started work for Bucher Realty, whose offices were located in the exact spot where Jim McNeeley Real Estate and Property Management, Inc. now stands. During my time with Bucher Realty I was promoted to Branch Manager and was then hired by Pete Wilson Realty as their Residential Sales Manager. In the early 70's I started out on my own by opening Jim McNeeley Real Estate and Property Management, Inc. in the Beaverton Mall, and soon thereafter opened a branch office in Milwaukie as well. When the real estate market crashed in the early 80’s and almost bankrupted every real estate company, I was fortunate enough to be hired on by the Veteran’s Administration as their Property Manager. They only paid $5 a month per house, but I obtained over 150 repos and that income kept me afloat while many other offices were closing. As things got better in the late 80's, I moved to the Cedar Hills Shopping Center for a few years. Jim McNeeley Real Estate and Property Management, Inc. is now located in the spot where Bucher Realty was formerly located in Cedar Hills. Fortunately there will be no more relocating because I was recently able to purchase the building and we plan on staying here forever. I opened our property management department in the late 80's with only one other real estate agent and a few houses. We have now grown to have a property management staff of 15 and we manage about 650 properties all over the state. On the sales end of things, I managed over 800 VA houses and sold well over 1000 homes throughout the state of Oregon during the run of VA repos. At last count, we have sold houses in over 70 different cities in Oregon. As the real estate market got hot, repos went away and now most of our sales are of new construction homes (to be used as rentals) sold to investors from around the country. Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management Inc. is a member of 3 multiple listing services which include; Portland RMLS, Oregon Coast MLS and Willamette Valley MLS. I feel very fortunate to have been able to maintain a successful business throughout the years and look forward to many more to come. When not selling or managing real estate, I enjoy golfing at the Astoria Country Club, and fishing and clam digging on the Oregon Coast where my family has a vacation home on Cullaby Lake.

Kyle & Michelle Hayes

John Delong- Broker/Property Manager

John was born and raised in Oregon. He received a golf scholarship from the University of Oregon and graduated with a degree in Psychology. He also played professional golf for 6 years. John has been a real estate broker for 14 years and specializes in investments properties, first time buyers, and seasoned buyers.

Kelli Spitznagel- Broker/Property Manager

Kelli joined our team in 2010. She was raised in Beaverton, OR and attended Beaverton High School. She later received a degree in Psychology from Oregon State University, as well as her elementary teaching license from Concordia University. She was a third grade teacher before having 3 boys with her husband, Tom, a builder for PTR Homes. Her three boys keep her busy with basketball, baseball, and football games on the weekends, and she is excited to be a real estate broker and property manager here at Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management, Inc.

Mark Hessel- Property Manager/Broker

Mark Hessel is a real estate broker that specializes in residential property management and sales. He has been a licensed broker for Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management, Inc. since 1999 and is a Portland native. Mark and his assistant Ryan Tuttle together form an effective property management team within Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management, Inc. that can handle all aspects of your property management needs. Mark also has first-hand knowledge of the Portland area rental market and can give you his professional expertise in buying investment property.

Ryan Tuttle- Property Manager

Ryan is an assistant property manager to Mark and Carrie Hessel. He shows many
rental properties and assists in the day-to-day management of their rental properties as well. Ryan has been with Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management, Inc. since 2006.

Mark McNeeley- Assistant Property Manager/Field Representative

Mark has worked in all aspects of real estate and has been with Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management, Inc.  since 2001. His job includes showing homes all around Oregon, inspecting rented homes, and moving new tenants into rental properties.
When not working, Mark enjoys playing golf and cheering on the Oregon Ducks.

Katie McNeeley- Bookkeeper

Katie handles rent collections and dispersing for property management, along with vendor accounts receivable/payable. She has been with Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management, Inc. since 2004.

Ann Ashton- Bookkeeping Assistant

Ann has been with Jim McNeeley Real Estate & Property Management, Inc., since March of 2008. She assists Katie with daily bookkeeping tasks, and Mark Hessel with property management tasks.

Natasha Roman- Receptionist

Natasha joined our team in 2010, and assists property managers with daily tasks
while also working the reception area, fielding incoming calls. In her spare time,
she enjoys running, salsa dancing, and adventures with her fiance, Dolan.
